The Dawn Schuman Institute is an adult education program of the Community Foundation for Jewish Education of Metropolitan Chicago. Our mission is to reach more Jews and help each one find deeper meaning in Jewish life and learning through a variety of offerings.
Committed to Jewish continuity, the Dawn Schuman Institute is non-denominational in orientation, promoting dialogue and encouraging respect for all Jewish viewpoints. Our programs cover a wide range of topics, including:
